Nut Brittle
Nut brittle is an easy and versatile treat to make - perfect for topping cakes or desserts with, great as a gift or delicious just as it is! Choose whichever nuts you fancy, or have in, we chose hazelnuts but pecans, pistachios or cashews work brilliantly, as well as the traditional peanuts.

Ingredients:
- 150g caster sugar
- 150g nuts, toasted
Method:

Heat the sugar in a saucepan for 4-5 minutes, until melted and turning golden-brown.

Add the nuts, stir well and take the pan off the heat

Pour the mixture onto a non-stick baking sheet and leave to cool completely

To serve, break the brittle up into pieces.
