Indulgent, Creamy Eggnog
The perfect nightcap on Christmas Eve to send you to sleep before Father Christmas arrives!

Ingredients;
- 100ml Water
- 70g Caster Sugar
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 4 Egg Yolks
- 100ml Double Cream
- 500ml Whole Milk
- 100 ml Brandy (optional)
Method;
- Firstly create a sugar syrup by simmering the water and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Leave to cool
- Scrape the vanilla seeds into a large bowl. Add the egg yolks and the sugar syrup. Whisk until pale, then add the cream and milk, then whisk again
- Pour the eggnog into glasses and add the brandy to each glass (if using)
- Serve and enjoy!
