For breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner Shakshuka is always a winner. Made with our multi-purpose marinara sauce or even a jar of ready made you can serve simply or jazz it up with feta cheese, extra veg, chorizo or even leftover meat from your Sunday roast - the possibilities for this versatile list are endless! 

Ingredients:

  • Multi-purpose marinara sauce (recipe here) 400g per person
  • 2 eggs per person
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • Toasted bread and butter to dip

Method:

  • Cook the tomato sauce on a medium heat until bubbling in a (lidded) pan 
  • Crack in the eggs and season, then turn down the heat to low 
  • Cover with a lid and then cook until the white is set but the yolks are still soft and dippable
  • Serve in the pan with a side buttered toast cut into soldiers
