Easy Shakshuka
For breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner Shakshuka is always a winner. Made with our multi-purpose marinara sauce or even a jar of ready made you can serve simply or jazz it up with feta cheese, extra veg, chorizo or even leftover meat from your Sunday roast - the possibilities for this versatile list are endless!
Ingredients:
- Multi-purpose marinara sauce (recipe here) 400g per person
- 2 eggs per person
- Salt and pepper to season
- Toasted bread and butter to dip
Method:
- Cook the tomato sauce on a medium heat until bubbling in a (lidded) pan
- Crack in the eggs and season, then turn down the heat to low
- Cover with a lid and then cook until the white is set but the yolks are still soft and dippable
- Serve in the pan with a side buttered toast cut into soldiers
